Russell has worked in film and television for over seven years, starting in production and moving into a creative field as a storyboard and concept artist.

He has worked on everything from Dr. Who, Tomb Raider games and award winning television shows for ITV, BBC, Channel 4 and Sky, to countless television dramas, commercials, shorts and feature films.
After graduating as an illustrator and studying screen writing his first job was as producers' assistant on 'An American Haunting' starring Donald Sutherland and Sissy Spacek.

Afterwards came artistic roles at Nickelodeon and several other television stations and a role as a writer for famed photographer Rankin, before writing and directing award winning short film 'Anglesey Road'.
Russell's debut feature 'Welcome To The Majority' is scheduled for completion July 2011. He has completed 5 other feature scripts with several others in development.
